About The Position

The Department of Radiation Oncology at UNC - Chapel Hill is seeking to fill a tenure or non-tenure track faculty position. The role will focus on gynecologic malignancies, including brachytherapy, and will be based at the Chapel Hill campus. The department is looking for candidates with a strong interest in academic research, encompassing laboratory research, clinical translational research, and/or physics-based research. The selected candidate will have a primary clinical focus on gynecologic malignancies and brachytherapy, and will also focus on an additional disease site, to be determined by the candidate's expertise and UNC's clinical needs. Applicants must hold an MD degree, have subspecialty training in Radiation Oncology, and be ABR certified or eligible. Proton experience and radiopharmaceutical authorized user status are considered desirable but not mandatory.
