About The Position

Palo Alto Foundation Medical Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Radiation Oncology physician to work at Sutter Health Palo Alto Medical Foundation at our Sunnyvale and Santa Clara radiation oncology departments in California's Silicon Valley. Our fully loaded departments have Varian TrueBeam, TrueBeam STx, and Edge linear accelerator systems with Siemens and GE CT simulators, BrainLab ExacTrac Dynamic, AlignRT, and a dedicated HDR brachytherapy suite with a Varian BRAVOS system. Our cancer program has numerous accreditations, active participation in clinical trials, and several specialty and sub-specialty multidisciplinary tumor boards. We are excited to be opening our new cancer center in Santa Clara in 2027, which will have a new Sutter Health hospital and a medical school. We are looking for a highly skilled team player to join our excellent department as a shareholder-track physician. Full-time is preferred, but part-time can be considered based on candidate qualifications. Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiation Oncology
  • Relevant experience in IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS is required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with prostate seed brachytherapy and HDR brachytherapy is a plus
