About The Position

Opportunity to practice both pulmonary disease and critical care medicine in a true split practice with great teams at Lakeland Pulmonology and Spectrum Health Lakeland. This is a full-time position for a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to meet patient and community needs. The role includes outpatient and inpatient pulmonary care with approximately 50% of the practice dedicated to critical care. The facility boasts a state-of-the-art 18-bed Critical Care Unit and a new Endoscopy Suite with EBUS and bronchoscopy capabilities. This is a hospital-employed position within a Pulmonology practice consisting of three physicians and one advanced practitioner. The new office space is located on the campus of the Lakeland Health Park in St. Joseph, offering convenient access to various medical services and specialties. There is an interest in expanding services to outlying areas within 25 miles of St. Joseph. The practice utilizes Epic EHR and has an existing patient base. There are no competing practices in the immediate area. The position also offers the opportunity to teach medical students and residents, as Corewell Health South is a teaching hospital affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Western Michigan University College of Medicine.

Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.
• Michigan MD/DO License.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification.
