Physician: Pulmonary/Critical Care- North Region
About The Position
The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to practice in the North Region of the WVU Medicine footprint. The successful candidate will practice in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine. This group functions as a ‘Regional Team’ and the successful candidate could be expected to practice at all locations as needed: Wheeling Hospital, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Wetzel County Hospital, Barnesville Hospital, Harrison Community Hospital and all associated North Region Ambulatory clinics.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible to obtain state medical license.
- Board certified or eligible in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine.
- Practice at all locations as needed within the North Region, including Wheeling Hospital, Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Wetzel County Hospital, Barnesville Hospital, Harrison Community Hospital, and associated North Region Ambulatory clinics.
