About The Position
Are you looking for physician per diem shifts in an outpatient care setting in the Cincinnati, OH metro? As a PRN physician at Concentra, you will be a member of our outpatient care team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Physician PRN supporting outpatient centers in Cincinnati, OH and Erlanger, KY you will provide professional medical care within an occupational health and urgent care focused practice. At least 4-6 shifts a month with an 8a-5p work schedule.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted medical license in state of jurisdiction
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- DOT/FMCSA certification – active or willing to get during credentialing
- Must be eligible to participate in Medicare
- Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution

- Ability to make decisions or solve problems by using logic to identify key facts, explore alternatives, and propose quality solutions
- The ability to properly handle sensitive and confidential information (including HIPAA and PHI) in accordance with federal and state laws and company policies
- Agrees, supports, and commits to Concentra's core practice standards and Policies and Procedures
Responsibilities
- Performs medical assessment of Center patients
- Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for center patients
- Maintains clinical core competency
- Works with Center Medical Director to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards in occupational medicine and standards of Association and Concentra.
- Effectively communicates with all patients, clients, supervisors and peers while incorporating Orange Book values
- Listens to and understands internal and external client needs in order to act and address
