About The Position

Wellstar Health System is opening Columbia County Hospital in Grovetown, Georgia, in Fall 2026. This new facility is located in a rapidly growing community known for its excellent schools, affordable housing, and outdoor recreation. The hospital will feature 84 medical-surgical beds, a 16-bed ICU, a 40-bed Emergency Department, a planned Level II Trauma Center, 6 Operating Rooms, 2 Cath/Interventional Radiology suites, and 2 Endoscopy suites, along with comprehensive medical and surgical specialties. Adjacent to the hospital is a four-story Medical Office Building with 160 exam rooms, also anchored by major medical and surgical specialties and seamlessly connected to the hospital. We are seeking full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physicians to establish a new practice within this healthcare hub, offering a unique opportunity to build a practice from the ground up.
