About The Position

Practice medicine in a way that prioritizes time, connection, and meaningful patient relationships. As a Physician in Physician Services, you'll provide advanced primary and specialty care to geriatric and medically complex patients, often in their homes or care settings, with the autonomy to focus on delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care that improves comfort, function, and quality of life. In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and coordinate care with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. You'll also provide medical leadership and collaborative oversight for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, helping ensure high-quality, coordinated care while mentoring fellow clinicians. Through your expertise and leadership, you'll play a vital role in improving patient outcomes, reducing unnecessary hospitalizations, and enhancing the quality of life for the patients and families you serve. This role is a high travel position and requires daily travel within the service area to provide care to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes.

Requirements

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
Current unrestricted State license to practice medicine
Board certification in family practice, internal medicine, geriatric or palliative care
Prior supervisor / management experience
Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and valid automobile insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

Minimum 2 years experience in healthcare, with a combination of acute care, geriatric and/or long-term care practice
Experience with geriatric patients
Demonstrated interpersonal, supervisory, and management skills with ability to communicate effectively
Demonstrates proven organizational development and project management
Exhibits working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in home health care as well as proven leadership abilities
