Physician - Primary Care
About The Position
HSHS Medical Group is seeking an outpatient Family Medicine physician to join an established and very busy practice. The position is located in a spacious clinic on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, with the potential for 4-day workweeks. The practice utilizes EPIC EMR and is a thriving practice with 5 providers and ample space for growth. Good Shepherd Hospital is a 30-bed facility providing 24/7 emergency care, laboratory, and imaging services, along with an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy, and a wide variety of outpatient services.
Requirements
- Clinical doctorate is required.
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
