Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Must be willing to travel to hubsite locations

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of related Physician Practice Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Undergo practical training in a physician office which serves as a training ground to learn all aspects of practice management in a systematic manner under the guidance of experienced managers.
  • Gain knowledge and experience required for promotion to future management positions.
  • Learn the operation of business from the ground level.
  • Receive hands on experience as well as an awareness of culture of the company and its business philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the practice administrator to learn the day-to-day operations of the physician practice.
  • Fill in for roles coordinating patient scheduling, registration, and check-in processes.
  • Fill in roles for surgical scheduling.
  • Participate in optimizing workflow efficiency and patient throughput.
  • Work with the practice administrator to understand financial reporting and budgeting for the practice.
  • Learn about insurance billing and reimbursement processes and ability to resolved billing issues.
  • Develop a basic understanding of coding and billing practices.
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding of key practice positions (front desk, MA, call center, surgical scheduler, etc).
  • Learn and develop staff training.
