Physician - Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon
About The Position
Community Health Network is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Plastic Surgeon to join a reputable, well-established practice in Central Indiana. This role is part of a significant cancer care partnership with MD Anderson Cancer Network®, making Community MD Anderson the only partner in Indiana. The surgeon will focus primarily on breast reconstruction, including implant and autologous options, and will perform and assist on DIEP flaps, supporting eight breast oncologic surgeons. The position offers comprehensive multi-disciplinary support, a robust research program with clinical trials, a flexible work schedule, and shared call. The role will utilize the latest robotic technology and state-of-the-art surgical suites.
Requirements
- BE/BC Plastic Surgeon
- American Board of Plastic Surgery certification
- Indiana medical license will be required
- Excellent communication skills
- Dedication to delivering high quality patient care

Responsibilities
- Perform and assist on DIEP flaps
- Focus primarily on breast reconstruction, including implant and autologous options
- Support eight breast oncologic surgeons
- Collaborate with medical oncologists, oncologic surgical specialists, genetic counselors, physical therapy, speech therapy, survivorship support, and nurse navigators
- Participate in a robust research program with multiple open clinical trials
