About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are recruiting a BC/BE physiatrist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) with training and interest in Neurological Rehabilitation and Spine & Musculoskeletal Medicine. The candidate will practice in Uniontown, PA. Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills and a strong interest in education and research. Clinical and basic science research is encouraged and supported. Laboratory facilities are also available. All faculty are required to take an active role in our integrated residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Electrodiagnostic procedures are available. Candidates will have special interest in interventional and non-interventional spine, pain management, musculoskeletal and/or sports medicine. Candidates with fellowship training in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, or Cancer rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible for state medical license.
  • Completed physical medicine and rehabilitation residency program.
  • Board certified/eligible in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
