About The Position
We are looking for a board certified or board eligible Pediatrician to join our practice in Los Banos, CA. This position is open to H1B and J1 visa candidates. The role involves covering the local Emergency Room, newborn nursery coverage, attending emergency C-sections, and managing the Level I nursery. The community offers a lower cost of living compared to the Bay Area and is a short drive to various recreational and entertainment destinations, with an average of 260 days of sunshine annually.
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required
Responsibilities
- Covering the local Emergency Room
- Newborn nursery coverage
- Attending emergency C-sections as requested by OB
- Manage Level I nursery, with approximately 800 deliveries per year and an average newborn census of 3-5
