About The Position
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Pediatrics seek an Adolescent Medicine physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. The successful candidate will join our group of two adolescent medicine physicians, including full-time clinical and combination clinical-research faculty with funding through NIH and private funding mechanisms. Clinical responsibilities will include seeing adolescent and young adult patients with duties that focus on the general adolescent clinic. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will also be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
- Eligible for state medical license.
- Completed a pediatrics, medicine/pediatrics, or family medicine residency program.
Nice To Haves
- Completed an adolescent medicine fellowship program.
Responsibilities
- Practice in Morgantown, WV.
- See adolescent and young adult patients with duties that focus on the general adolescent clinic.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Be actively involved in the teaching of medical students and residents.
- Potentially provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, which may involve travel.
