About The Position

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s is seeking a board eligible or board certified Pediatric Cardiologist with cardiac imaging expertise to join its established and comprehensive group practice in Washington. The position includes work at the Children’s Hospital and outpatient clinics, providing medical and cardiac imaging management for pediatric and adult congenital patients. The schedule is day shift, with the schedule to be determined and call included. The role is listed at 1.0 FTE. Compensation ranges from $428,000 to $470,000 annually for a 1.0 FTE, depending on factors such as skills, experience, certifications, and education. The Physician will evaluate, treat, and provide follow-up care to patients assigned by the Heart Center, and will cooperate with Heart Center activities and governance. The Physician is expected to keep their skills and knowledge current through medical literature and continuing medical education. The position offers work within a pediatric hospital and medical office building, supported by a pediatric specialty network.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO.
Licensed to practice medicine in Washington State as a Physician.
Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology at time of employment.
Additional advanced cardiac imaging training.
DEA, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, treat, and provide follow-up care to patients assigned by the Heart Center.
Provide medical and cardiac imaging management for pediatric and adult congenital patients, including OR TTE and TEE coverage, cardiac CT/MRI, and fetal echocardiograms.
Cooperate with the Heart Center’s management and governance activities.
Keep skills and knowledge current through study of current medical literature and continuing medical education courses.
