About The Position
Seeking a full-time pediatric hospitalist to join our team in providing high-quality inpatient care to the community of central Minnesota. This role involves caring for children aged 0-17 years old with a variety of medical diagnoses within a 22-bed Pediatric Unit, which includes 4 ICU beds and 4 PPCU beds. The Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist covers the PICU. The department also offers a Pediatric Sedation program and has dedicated child life specialists. There are opportunities for teaching Family Medicine residents and students.
Requirements
- BE/BC
- Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient care to children aged 0-17 years old.
- Manage patients with a variety of medical diagnoses within the Pediatric Unit.
- Collaborate with Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist for PICU coverage.
- Participate in the Pediatric Sedation program.
- Engage in teaching opportunities for Family Medicine residents and students.
