The Division of Pediatric Critical care Medicine at Corewell Children’s Hospital is recruiting for a full-time BC/BE pediatric intensivist to join its team of 3 pediatric intensivists. Beaumont Children’s Hospital is a hospital within a hospital located at Corewell health William Beaumont University Hospital. CH Children’s Hospital is a level 2 Pediatric trauma Center and an academic/tertiary care center serving the Southeastern Michigan area. The Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine covers an 8-bed medical/surgical PICU, an 8-bed pediatric progressive care unit (PPCU) and a procedural sedation unit. The PICU has over 850 yearly admissions (excluding admissions to PCCU) and over 1000 yearly procedural sedations. We seek an energetic pediatric intensivist with strong clinical and procedural skills, preferably with clinical experience after fellowship to join our group. Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine is affiliated with Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan and has won many awards for innovation in education. General surgery residents rotate on pediatric surgery, an ACS certified Level II pediatric trauma center. All of our physicians receive faculty appointments at the School of Medicine and are active in clinical research. Specially trained, in-house pediatricians oversee care in our 40-bed inpatient unit at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital.
