About The Position

Ochsner Children’s Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Cardiologist to join their advanced imaging team. The role will focus on non-invasive imaging, including fetal echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and general echocardiography. Teaching responsibilities for pediatric residents, medical students, and sonographers are included. There is also an opportunity for cross-sectional imaging within the cardiac MRI and CT program. The position will also involve outpatient clinic, inpatient service, and telemedicine. Ochsner Children’s provides comprehensive services for all pediatric cardiac sub-specialties and has a highly-ranked heart center, recognized by US News and World Report for seven consecutive years. The program performs a significant volume of cardiac surgeries, catheterizations, and ambulatory visits annually. Ochsner Children’s is the region's leading integrated provider of multispecialty care for young patients and is expanding with a new children's hospital expected to open in 2028. The program is also involved in teaching and research, with opportunities for academic appointments and participation in multi-center trials.

Requirements

BC/BE Pediatric Cardiologist
