About The Position

Optum NY is seeking a Pathways Physician to join their team remotely. This program is designed for physicians transitioning into their final year of residency or fellowship, offering a guaranteed salary in their final year of training and mentorship from experienced physicians. The program aims to help participants learn to operate and thrive in a value-based care model, gain exposure to the Quadruple Aim framework, and ease the transition from training into practice. The customized program involves a commitment of a few hours per month and includes exposure to primary and specialty care settings, either at Optum Tri-State facilities in New York or virtually. Optum is a clinician-led care organization focused on making healthcare better for everyone, providing clinical resources, data, and support from a global organization. They emphasize a collaborative environment guided by diversity and inclusion, driving towards the Quadruple Aim. Optum NY/NJ, formed in 2022, combines resources from Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical, and ProHealth Care, offering patient-focused medical care across New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut.
