About The Position
Vituity is seeking a Palliative Care Physician for MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center in Fountain Valley, CA. Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians, offering an ownership model that provides autonomy, local control, and a national system of support. The practice is located within MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center, a 240-bed facility, and MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Long Beach, a 248-bed facility. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with a total daily volume of 50 patients, mostly managed by NPs under physician supervision. The Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used is Epic. Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physicians.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide palliative care to patients, primarily geriatric.
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in patient management.
- Utilize Epic EMR for patient care documentation.
