About The Position

WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Otolaryngologist to practice in Weirton, WV. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 20 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. It also includes five institutes and provides management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. Whether caring for patients at critical access hospitals, community sites, regional or academic medical centers, all are part of the WVU Health System. The system is West Virginia’s largest health system and the state’s largest employer with more than 3,400 licensed beds, 4,600 providers, 35,000 employees, and $7 billion in total operating revenues. The Health System is comprised of 25 hospitals – including J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, an 880-bed academic medical center, and the 150-bed WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia – and five institutes.

Requirements

• Must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for state medical license.
• Completed an Otolaryngology residency program.
• Board certified/eligible in Otolaryngology.
• All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
