About The Position

The West Virginia University Health System, the state’s largest health system and largest private employer, comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. WVUHS Medical Group seeks an Orthopedic Trauma Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Martinsburg, WV. The Orthopedic and Sports Medicine providers of WVU Medicine offer a full range of services including diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the musculoskeletal system.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Eligible to obtain state medical license
• Completed an ACGME accredited orthopedic surgery residency
• Completed an Orthopedic Trauma fellowship
• Board certified/eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment

Responsibilities

• Practice in the area of orthopedic trauma.
• Diagnosis, treatment and surgery of the musculoskeletal system.
