About The Position

General Orthopedic Physician Opportunity – Deaconess Clinic Henderson, KY location. Build a high-volume practice quickly with strong referral support, dedicated OR access, and a clear path to exceeding $1M+ income. This opportunity offers immediate volume with an established referral network and strong demand across a large regional service area. There is an established Walk-In Clinic staffed by experienced advanced practice providers, leading to new patient opportunities. The practice model is efficient with an integrated system using Epic across inpatient and outpatient settings. The schedule is balanced, offering a mix of clinic, OR, and manageable call. Support for growth is available through access to rehab, urgent ortho care, and primary care feeders. Dedicated OR block time is available at a close acute care hospital. There is an opportunity to participate in a partially physician-owned ambulatory surgery center. Consistent APP support is provided for the entire practice, both outpatient and inpatient. The partner hospital is very experienced in orthopedic care and surgery techniques and is supported by Orthopedic Traumatologists. The practice overview includes General Orthopedics (1.0 FTE) with Clinic + Surgical Practice + APP Support. Call is 1:4 and inpatient coverage is approximately 7 days/month. The opportunity allows for rapid ramp-up.

Responsibilities

General Orthopedics (1.0 FTE)
Clinic + Surgical Practice + APP Support
Call: 1:4
Inpatient Coverage: ~7 days/month
Outpatient clinic with consistent referral flow
Surgical cases supported by hospital infrastructure and care coordination teams
Collaboration with primary care and rehab services to maintain continuity of care
Perform 5-10 cases per week average (annual average ortho does 350 cases per year)
Call coverage supported by APPs as physician wishes
