Non-operative sports medicine providers are responsible for providing medical, procedural (injection, splinting, bracing), concussion care, and postoperative management of patients with musculoskeletal injuries. Non-operative sports medicine providers will work in collaboration with other medical specialties to assess and manage patients following established standards and practices. This position will primarily work in the Bend and Redmond clinics, though a presence in some of the outreach clinics is also expected. As a member of the sports medicine team, non-operative sports medicine providers are also expected to participate in the coverage of athletic events in the community (high school football, basketball, training room etc). Work schedule: Physician will have roughly 32 patient facing hours per week as a 1.0FTE which is prorated proportionate to their FTE. This will be a blend of scheduled clinic visits, NowCare urgent visits, and athletic event coverage including charting of patients and other necessary duties, recognizing that the minimum requirement may fluctuate up and down based on direct patient care. Call expectation: N/A Work location: Physician’s primary clinic work location will be in Bend, Redmond and may include some work in outreach clinics.
