Visas Accepted H1B or J1 Specialty Internal Medicine - Hospitalist Practice Details Marshfield Medical Center seeks a full-time Hospitalist that is BC/BE in Internal Medicine to join our Hospital Medicine department in Marshfield, WI. The Hospitalist Program provides a core and essential service to the clinic and hospital in Marshfield, WI. The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad ranging and includes medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients excluding critical ICU admissions. - Shifts include 7pm-7am - 7 days on 7 days off - Trauma Level II – 500 bed hospital (beds in service 300) - Closed ICU We strongly encourage our physicians to be involved in medical education and research to continue building our strong foundation of patient care, research and education for years to come. Job Description The Adult Hospitalist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Current medical license in each state of practice.
• State Controlled Substance License (if required by State)
• Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).
