About The Position
West Virginia University Medicine is seeking Hospitalists for WVUHS Medical Group. These positions are based at Uniontown Hospital in Uniontown, PA, a 150-bed facility. The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient clinical care to patients with diseases and injuries of the human internal organ system and establishing preventive health practices. The West Virginia University Health System is the state's largest health system and largest private employer, comprising 18 hospitals and providing management services for other local hospitals. Uniontown Hospital is a dedicated community hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Fayette County and surrounding areas for over a century.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
- Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Pennsylvania Medical License eligible.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
