About The Position

The Adult Nocturnist Physician provides comprehensive, inpatient care for adult patients in a hospital setting. This role focuses on the management of acute and chronic medical conditions, coordination of care with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered outcomes throughout hospitalization. The scope of patients on the Hospitalist Service is broad ranging and includes medical consultation for surgical and non-surgical subspecialty patients, including Med Surg, ICU and step-down units.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree.
Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Current medical license in each state of practice.
State Controlled Substance License (if required by State).
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice.
Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada).
BC/BE in Internal Medicine.
