About The Position

Vituity is a 100% physician-owned partnership seeking Board Eligible/Certified Internal Medicine and Family Practice physicians for a Hospitalist opportunity at Adventist Health Bakersfield. This role involves covering the ICU overnight from 5pm-7am. The practice is at a 254-bed acute care hospital with an annual volume of over 200,000 and a 30-bed closed ICU. Hospitalists typically handle 16-18 encounters per day, with nocturnists managing around 16 encounters per night. A current CA State license is a plus, and visa candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities

• Cover ICU overnight from 5pm-7am.
• Manage approximately 16 encounters per night as a nocturnist.
• Provide hospitalist coverage at Adventist Health Bakersfield, a 254-bed acute care hospital.
• Work within a closed 30-bed ICU.
• Collaborate with a national system of support and a team of 6,000 Vituity clinicians.
