About The Position

Ochsner Health in Lake Charles is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist to join their growing, well-supported practice. The position is general neurology focused with opportunities to incorporate subspecialty interests such as headache, neuromuscular, epilepsy, stroke, and movement disorders. It is an outpatient-focused practice with minimal inpatient responsibilities. The role benefits from an established referral base and a strong primary care network, ensuring immediate patient volume. Ochsner Health utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record system across the entire health system and offers support from tele-neurology and tele-stroke services for improved work-life balance. Access to advanced neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, EMG, and imaging, is available through an integrated system.

Requirements

  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist
  • Physician-led organization that ensures our providers are given the tools and support needed to care for patients.
  • Must be able to work within a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
  • Must be able to utilize EPIC electronic medical record system.
  • Must be able to work closely with experienced neurologists, hospitalists, and specialty providers.
  • Must have an emphasis on quality of care, evidence-based practice, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Must be able to utilize advanced neurodiagnostic testing, including EEG, EMG, and imaging.
