About The Position

MultiCare Health System’s Neuroscience Institute is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine to join its expanding practice in the South Puget Sound region. The physician will join a group of more than 20 neurologists, with additional advanced practice provider support and several subspecialty practices. The role combines general neurology with support for the subspecialty the physician wishes to practice, within a collaborative department and a strong employed referral base. The position offers a flexible schedule, weekdays, and no call. Neurohospitalists provide daytime coverage at three facilities. The institute provides clinical, administrative, and IT resources, outstanding facilities, and support for patient care and practice growth. The position is 1.0 FTE, with annual compensation of $332,400 plus production and quality incentives. MultiCare offers a comprehensive benefits package and student loan forgiveness.

Requirements

Board eligible or board certified in Neurology at the time of employment.
Licensed in Washington state by the time of employment.
DEA registration, NPI, and prescriptive authority.
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification from the American Heart Association.
Fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine.

Responsibilities

Provide neurological care within the department’s blend of general neurology and subspecialty practice.
Deliver patient-centered care and collaborate with neurologists, neurosurgeons, advanced practitioners, and clinic-hospital teams.
Contribute to quality patient care and the growth of the practice.
