About The Position

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained, Board Certified/Board Eligible Movement Disorders Neurologist to join their expanding Neurosciences team in the south suburbs of Chicago. This is an employed, full-time position within Northwestern Medicine's successful and expanding multi-specialty physician group. The group promotes a collegial work environment, physician success, and compassionate care within a physician-driven team. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary Movement Disorders team, which includes capabilities for Parkinson's disease genetic testing and a biorepository. Dedicated support from physical therapy (PT), occupational therapy (OT), and speech therapy is also available. Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital, where the role is based, is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a top hospital in the Chicago metro area and Illinois. The hospital is a 428-licensed bed facility located 20 miles from downtown Chicago and serves the southwest suburbs.

Requirements

  • Fellowship trained in Movement Disorders
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (BE/BC)

Responsibilities

  • Join a team of 2 Movement Disorders physicians.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary Movement Disorders team.
  • Provide care within a physician-driven team.
