Physician - Neurologist
About The Position
Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a Neurologist to join its expanding group. Candidates should have skills and expertise in general neurology; subspecialty interests are supported. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and training. The role involves an active clinical practice with a large referral base. Inpatient work is consultative alongside hospitalists at Ochsner Medical Center – Baton Rouge. The Telestroke Program is integrated with Ochsner’s large tertiary care center in New Orleans. The Ochsner Health system uses the EPIC medical record platform. The Department of Neurology includes more than 40 neurologists system-wide, with subspecialty representation across stroke, neurocritical care, interventional neurology, neuromuscular disease, movement disorders, epilepsy, MS, headache, cognitive disorders, sleep, traumatic brain injury, and sports medicine.
Requirements
- Skills and expertise in all aspects of general neurology.
- General neurologists or fellowship-trained neurologists are encouraged to apply.
