About The Position

Corewell Health's Department of Radiology, located at the Royal Oak campus, is seeking a fellowship-trained Neurointerventional Radiologist to join their expanding neurovascular program. This role is crucial for supporting and growing the comprehensive neurovascular service line. The hospital is recognized for its clinical quality, advanced imaging, and academic excellence. The position offers opportunities for academic involvement, including faculty appointments, resident and fellow education, clinical research, and quality initiatives. The role involves shared neurointerventional call within an established multi-physician practice.

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in CAST-accredited Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology/Neurointerventional Radiology (or equivalent).
  • ABR-certified/eligible.
  • Michigan licensure (or ability to obtain).
  • Graduate of approved Medical College.
  • Requisite specialty expertise to meet Review Committee‘s requirements.
  • Requisite documented educational and administrative experience to meet Review Committee ‘s requirements.
  • Appropriate medical staff appointment.
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
  • CRT-At least one License and/or Certification in area of specialty - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a comprehensive stroke center.
  • Experience in high-volume acute ischemic stroke thrombectomy programs.
  • Experience in mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral aneurysm treatment, carotid and intracranial stenting, AVM/AVF embolization, middle meningeal artery embolization, and other advanced neuroendovascular procedures.
