About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Nephrology Physician to join our growing practice located at Franciscan Physician Network Nephrology Hypertension Lafayette in Lafayette, IN. The provider will also travel to nearby outreach locations in Crawfordsville and Rensselaer, IN. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, displaying exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. The physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Nephrology.
• Physician License (MD/DO) - Upon Hire Required.
• Board Certification in Specialty Discipline (or eligibility if appropriate) - Upon Hire Required.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association - Upon Hire Required.
• Ability to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients.

Responsibilities

• Divide time between clinic, rounding, and dialysis clinic outreach locations.
• Travel to outreach locations in Crawfordsville and Rensselaer, IN.
• Manage 10-14 patients per shift during outreach visits.
• Participate in a 1:4 call coverage rotation.
• See an average of 10-15 outpatients per day.
• See an average of 0-5 inpatients per day.
