About The Position

Sutter Medical Group is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified Neonatologists to join our dynamic and growing neonatal care team in Northern California. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in high-acuity, high-volume NICUs within a collaborative, forward-thinking health system committed to excellence in patient care. Our NICUs include Sutter Medical Center – Sacramento, a Level IV Regional NICU with 61 beds (expanding to 81 beds) with ~1,200 admissions annually, offering advanced care for the most complex neonatal cases. Sutter Roseville Medical Center – Roseville has a 16-bed community NICU (Level II/III), also expanding, with ~450 admissions annually. Together, these facilities offer a diverse, high-impact clinical experience across both community and regional settings. You’ll have access to cutting-edge technology and comprehensive support, including conventional, high-frequency ventilation, advanced non-invasive ventilation, and inhaled nitric oxide therapies; pre-surgical and pre-ECMO management for complex congenital heart disease; therapeutic whole-body hypothermia for HIE; full spectrum of pediatric subspecialty support; and a dedicated regional transport team (air and ground) serving 27 counties. Advanced therapies are available during transport. We are deeply committed to evidence-based care and exceptional outcomes, consistently achieving one of the highest survival rates without significant morbidity for very low birth weight neonates among NICUs across California. We believe in transparency and collaboration and are proud to share our outcomes data with prospective physicians. Be part of a collaborative, physician-led organization and work alongside a strong network of medical and surgical subspecialists. Practice in a region that offers excellent quality of life, with access to both urban amenities and outdoor recreation. Join us in shaping the future of neonatal care while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families.
