Physician Moonlighter - Emergency Medicine
About The Position
Vituity, a 100% physician-owned partnership led by frontline physicians, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Moonlighter for Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California. This role offers autonomy, local control, and a national system of support, allowing physicians to focus on patient care. The position is at a 436-bed facility with a 63-bed Emergency Department, handling approximately 250 patients per day with a high annual volume. Sub-specialty backup is available, excluding neurosurgery, and scribe support is provided. The medical center also hosts an ACGME accredited EM residency program.
Requirements
- Must be a 3rd year of a 3-year program or a 4th year of a 4-year program to be eligible.
- Current CA state license is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients.
- Work within a 63-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of 90,000.
- Collaborate with sub-specialty teams for patient care.
- Utilize TEE in the ED for critical resuscitation.
- Work with Vituity scribe support.
