About The Position
The Department of Medical Oncology and Therapeutics Research at City of Hope National Medical Center is seeking a full-time medical oncologist to join our established practice. City of Hope provides Mission Hills and the surrounding communities with oncologic care, including hematology, medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, and surgical oncologist. The department is seeking to hire a full-time medical oncologist for our Thousand Oaks Network site. The role involves joining 2 medical oncologists, a gynecologic oncologist, and surgical oncology. The effort allocation is 95% clinical. The position covers one clinic location with inpatient rounding at Providence Holy Cross and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience outside of fellowship (new graduates will also be reviewed).
- Candidate will do Medical Oncology and Hematology.
- Academic record consistent with appointment at the Assistant Clinical Professor level at City of Hope National Medical Center.
- Must be eligible to obtain or already hold an active California medical license.
- ABIM board eligibility/certification in medical oncology and hematology.
Responsibilities
- Join our nationally recognized team of medical and surgical cancer specialists.
- Provide oncologic care, including hematology and medical oncology.
- Cover one clinic location with inpatient rounding at Providence Holy Cross and Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.
