The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, is seeking an accomplished cardiovascular imaging specialist to serve as Medical Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory. This physician leader will provide strategic, clinical, operational, educational, and research leadership for one of the nation's leading cardiovascular imaging programs. The University of Kansas Health System includes approximately 85 cardiovascular physicians across three metropolitan campuses, anchored by the University of Kansas Medical Center. The successful candidate will oversee a comprehensive, accredited echocardiography program while supporting academic initiatives that support clinical research, investigator-initiated studies, multicenter clinical trials, and innovation in structural heart imaging. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of multimodality cardiovascular imaging through excellence in patient care, education, research, and program development while collaborating closely with Interventional Cardiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiac Anesthesiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, and the Cardiovascular Clinical Research (CCR) enterprise.
