This is a full-time primary care position focusing on adult patients, involving infirmary coverage. The average patient per day is 12. Requirements

Medical doctorate (MD) or doctor of osteopathy (DO) from an accredited university.
Two (2) years post-residency clinical experience in an outpatient/inpatient setting.
Licensed in the state of employment.
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and applicable certifications.
Board certified or eligible in internal or family medicine.

Nice To Haves

Psychiatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assessing and treating patients’ physical health including conducting exams and coordinating outside referrals.
Providing and overseeing documentation, outside referrals, consultations, and follow-ups.
Offering clinical oversight and support to ARNPs, including care provision and documentation review.
Performing minor medical procedures such as sutures, IV placement, and lumbar puncture.
Collaborating with psychiatric and interdisciplinary staff to ensure integrated care.
Educating patients and families.
Ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Tailoring treatment plans to the patient's age and development.
After-hours on-call responsibilities.
