About The Position

RieLes Group is seeking qualified Physicians (MD) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) (or an additional MD) to provide comprehensive medical services at the Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) in Kentucky. Glasgow State Nursing Facility operates under the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, specializing in the care of medically fragile individuals with complex behavioral and developmental conditions. The facility maintains high clinical standards and requires continuous provider availability. GSNF is a 100-bed skilled nursing facility providing care to residents with behavioral health, developmental, and intellectual disabilities, requiring a high level of clinical expertise and coordinated care.

Requirements

  • 1 Licensed Physician (MD)
  • 1 APRN (or additional MD)
  • Active Kentucky Medical License
  • Residency completion required
  • Current malpractice insurance
  • Active Kentucky APRN License
  • Prescriptive authority
  • Collaborative Practice Agreement (if applicable)

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certified (preferred)
  • Experience in: Long-term care Behavioral health / developmental disabilities (highly preferred)
  • Experience in long-term or behavioral health care preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily medical rounds for all assigned residents
  • Deliver routine and emergency medical care
  • Maintain 24/7 availability for consultation and urgent care
  • Perform annual physical examinations
  • Document daily progress notes and clinical records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and facility leadership
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with: HIPAA CMS regulations Facility policies and procedures
