About The Position

You can join this nationwide network through Florida Kidney Physicians, seeking passionate and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurses to join their team. APRN’s must have experience as a hospitalist and working in a hospital. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience.

Requirements

• APRN’s must have experience as a hospitalist and working in a hospital.
• Master’s degree program in nursing, with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.

Responsibilities

• Hospital Rounding
• Travel will be necessary for rounding in the clinics and hospitals
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes
