About The Position

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiology physician. Ochsner Health is an integrated healthcare system with over 36,000 employees and more than 4,600 employed and affiliated physicians across 90 medical specialties. The health system operates 47 hospitals and over 370 health and urgent care centers throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and the Gulf South. This position offers a 100% Interventional Radiology practice in a collegial, patient-focused, and growing environment within the Greater New Orleans region. The role involves a broad and diverse case mix, including a significant interventional oncology practice with liver-directed therapies, GU interventions, and lung interventions. There are expanding clinical programs in venous disease, women’s health, and endocrine interventions, providing strong opportunities for practice development and subspecialty growth. A dedicated IR clinic infrastructure supports longitudinal patient care and outpatient practice building. Academic appointments are available through Xavier Ochsner College of Medicine. The position utilizes a night float call system designed to support work-life balance, with specific call hours and protected post-call mornings. Physicians will have access to advanced imaging equipment, modern PACS and dictation systems, and IT support. Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiology.
  • Physician-led organization experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with EPIC medical record platform is beneficial.
