About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist. The successful candidates will practice in Martinsburg, West Virginia, with potential assignments to additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, which may involve travel. The role involves practicing in general and interventional cardiology, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to an academic environment.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
• Eligible for a state medical license.
• Completed an interventional cardiology fellowship program.
• Board certified / eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of general and interventional cardiology.
• Provide excellent patient care.
• Be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
