About The Position

Deaconess Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established and highly productive practice. The team consists of 4 cardiologists and 6 advanced practice providers dedicated to delivering the highest level of cardiac care. This role is ideal for a motivated and collaborative physician who values teamwork, enjoys procedural variety, and thrives in an environment that balances autonomy with structure. The position is a full-time, hospital-employed role with a strong referral base, offering modern facilities including two state-of-the-art cardiac cath labs and a fully implemented Epic EMR system. The primary practice location is Jasper, IN, with outreach to Princeton, Petersburg, and Washington, IN. The hospital is a Trauma Level III, faith-based organization with 114 beds, serving over 30 specialties with approximately 250 physicians and advanced practice providers across 33 health centers in 8 counties. Deaconess Memorial Medical Center achieved Magnet recognition in 2020 and Magnet recognition with Distinction in October 2024, and has been named in the Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals by NRHA.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the highest level of cardiac care.
  • Perform Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI).
  • Conduct peripheral vascular procedures (interest welcomed).
  • Perform pacemaker procedures (interest welcomed).
  • Conduct vascular interpretations including carotids, arterial studies, and renal/mesenteric studies (interest welcomed).
  • Collaborate with a team of cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
  • Participate in a manageable call schedule.
  • Provide care in both inpatient hospital units and outpatient clinic settings.
  • Contribute to a physician-led governance model.
