It is a multi-specialty clinic with more than 900 medical providers in 65 medical specialties, nationally recognized for delivering coordinated and accountable care. Internal Medicine physicians at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic examine adult patients 18 years and older, providing proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery for various medical conditions. They are responsible for ordering medically necessary tests, performing follow-up visits, and placing referrals to specialists as needed. The role offers full access to several sub-specialists, imaging, lab services, and patient education within the Kelsey-Seybold system. Physicians also interpret basic medical tests and imaging for patient care planning, utilizing the EPIC electronic health record for system-wide collaboration. Office hours are typically 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with support from nursing and administrative staff.
