About The Position

A well-established and busy outpatient Internal Medicine practice located at 4069 Lake Drive SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a highly collaborative and patient-focused team. This vibrant practice cares for adult patients across the continuum and offers a strong, team-based care model. The current group includes 5 physicians and 4 advanced practice providers, supported by integrated resources such as Behavioral Health, Pharmacists, and Care Managers—allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • BE/BC Family/Internal Medicine
  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association If required by specialty or stress test performed 120 Days required

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adult patients
  • Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and their families
  • Deliver care in a cost-effective, evidence-based, and patient-centered manner
  • Ensure appropriate coverage and continuity of care for patient panels
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve outcomes
  • Provide supervision and oversight of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
  • Participate in patient and family education to support wellness and chronic disease management
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical process enhancements
  • Support organizational goals related to patient satisfaction and financial stewardship
