Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is hiring for an Internal Medicine Physician to join our primary care team at our Hillcrest clinic. FHCSD is a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, well trained 200+ provider group dedicated to providing health care services to everyone with a particular emphasis on the medically underserved. Requirements
- Board certified or Board eligible in a Primary Care field
- Current American Heart Association healthcare provider CPR (BLS), or Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, or Advance Resuscitation Training.
- DEA license
- Graduate from an accredited school of medicine.
- Must possess current unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
Nice To Haves
- AAHIVM certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with providing gender affirming care preferred
- Experience with underserved, low-income persons, or homeless persons preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing primary care services.
- Working with patients from diverse social, cultural and economic groups.
- Potentially working with HIV patients in the future.
- Providing gender affirming care.
