Job Description Provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages throughout their lifespan. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. degree Successful completion of a residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Must hold an active medical license for each state in which the physician practices – either physically or virtually. Must have a DEA for each state in which the physician physically practices. Dual Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine and American Board of Pediatrics or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada). If physician is not board certified upon commencement of employment, they must achieve board certification as outlined in the privileging documents. Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists.
