About The Position

Clinica Sierra Vista is seeking a Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive adult primary care in an ambulatory setting. This role also involves serving as a clinical educator and preceptor for resident physicians, delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, and supervising trainees in the clinic. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a diverse environment and possess flexibility, knowledge, and compassion in patient care. Requirements

Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.
California Physician’s License
DEA Certificate
AHA -BLS certification
ABIM Board Certification
Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practice, and techniques in the physician's specialty.

Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
Willing to supervise internal medicine interns and/or residents in outpatient clinic.
Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
Maintains ABIM board certification.
Adheres to the regulations of ACGME when it comes to evaluation of residents.
Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
May assist the Executive Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.
