About The Position

The Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking Physician Instructors for periodic engagement roles on a part-time, non-tenure-track basis. These instructors will participate in the delivery of the integrated medical curriculum at one of three campuses (Athens, Cleveland, or Dublin, Ohio) as needed. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering didactic instruction, evaluating osteopathic medical students, leading small group teaching sessions, conducting clinical skills laboratory sessions, and serving as a clinical content expert or facilitator within the Pathway to Health and Wellness Curriculum.

Requirements

  • Minimum of DO or MD degree
  • AOA or ABMS board eligible or certified
  • Active state medical board license in good standing
  • DEA license or eligibility for the same

  • Teaching experience in medical education
  • Team teaching experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to relate to faculty, staff, students, and community members.
