About The Position

HSHS Medical Group, an affiliate of Hospital Sister Health System (HSHS), is recruiting a BE/BC Endocrinologist to join our Multispecialty Care team in Springfield, Illinois. This is a developing program transitioning toward a 50/50 inpatient-outpatient model with expanding APP support. HSHS Medical Group can sponsor H1B visas at this location. The position offers a flexible 4 or 5-day schedule with after-hours clinic call only, no hospital call. EPIC EMR will be used, and dedicated support staff will be provided. The pay range is $295,000 - $352,000.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA (prior to start)
  • BE/BC Endocrinology
  • M.D., D.O., or MBBS
  • Clinical doctorate is required.
  • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients is required.
  • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
  • Must have successfully completed, or in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
  • Must be board certified or board eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
  • Provide care in an inpatient/outpatient setting with a 50/50 model.
  • Participate in after-hours clinic call only.
